POP!, BOOM!, “It’s Mine!”, & “Sit Down!!!” were today's sounds of the day 😅

We enjoyed an interactive reading session throughout the day of the book titled Ekuba and Spidey, Sticky Scarecrow as we incorporated the popping of my brother's birthday party balloons. A question answered called for a pop of one balloon. But soon… one person popping a balloon when they got a question right turned into a crowd of students wanting to pop multiple balloons after barely answering a question. However, my strained voice at the end was worth it to see the TBR students so happy for something so simple like balloons! It shows the beauty of childhood and fun!

A quick peep at the progress of a new project made the day even more exciting, but that’s a post for another time! 😉

By the way, don’t worry; we did get some work done 😅. Though, I do wish somebody had kept score on how many times I yelled “Sit down!” or “Don’t pop it!” or even “Have you popped a balloon yet?” I think it would have been close to a million!
